Beginner's Course

The basics of touch typing is taught - including correct finger placement & posture. We attempt to teach all the letters in one week. Sometimes moving onto basic punctuation if the student is ready to progress.

*However, to become a proficient touch typist takes time and practice! Most people need to type regularly for around 6 months to a year to become accomplished. So patience and managing expectations is key!*

Intermediate and refresher courses run alongside the beginner's courses. Children are sat age appropriately and with other students of a similar standard. The level will be assessed at the beginning of the week to check that the basics are still in place before progressing onto more advanced material - the instructors will tailor the learning according to each individual's capabilities to keep it challenging and relevant.
