NMTT is supported by a dedicated and highly skilled team that shares a common goal: helping children unlock their full potential through touch typing. Each team member is DBS checked and carefully trained by Naomi to ensure the highest quality of instruction and support, including SEN. Here’s a closer look at the amazing people who make it all happen...
Naomi founded NMTT in 2010 and has been running touch typing courses every half term and school holiday since. She and her team have taught thousands of children how to touch type over the last 15 years with huge success!
Naomi’s passion is to help children, especially those with special education needs, improve their digital literacy and communication skills in an ever increasingly digital world.
Naomi gained her Pitman Typing Qualifications back in 1997, having trained at the Oxford Business College. She then went to Birmingham University to read English, graduating in 2001, after which she did a post-graduate degree in Performance at The Central School of Speech and Drama.
Before setting up NMTT she was a private tutor for over 8 years and has much experience working with dyslexia, dyspraxia and other learning difficulties.
